Hi, I’m Aubrey
I began this journey while working at the CDC, hoping that birthing room experience would inform my long-term goal of helping improve maternal health outcomes for all families. In return, my MPH and CDC background give me a solid understanding of health disparities and evidence-based care that shapes how I support my clients.
I trained and certified through the Hearts and Hands program at UC San Diego Health as a volunteer and am now finishing my second certification through DONA International as well. I have had the privilege of supporting over 40 births, including unmedicated, medicated, and cesarean deliveries.
If you are expecting and looking for emotional support, physical comfort, an informed advocate in the birthing room, or a calm and warm presence to help guide you through labor, I would be honored to be part of your birth team.
